Our Team

We are a BIPOC and woman owned practice providing individual therapy and consultation services. We serve community members seeking behavioral and mental health services to enhance emotional well-being.

We see in-person clients in Eugene and all of Oregon through telehealth!

At Vibrant Hues we understand that it is difficult to seek help. Often, the idea of therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if it is the first time. We strive to make the therapeutic process comfortable and and transparent.

Treatment Approaches

Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a behavioral intervention that places an importance on living in the present moment, mindfulness, and  values & goals to engage in our daily lives. Acceptance is not resigning to the fact that your life is not going the way you hoped, but acknowledging even with pain in our lives, we can still live fulfilling lives. In fact, acceptance can be understood as embracing everything in our lives.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that is well-researched in its effectiveness with a variety of mental health concerns.  CBT focuses on challenging automatic negative thoughts you experience that may impact your mental health and replacing these thoughts with more objective, realistic thoughts.  You and your therapist will use CBT to notice the relationships between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and you will learn to challenge thoughts, notice behaviors, and moderate the intensity of your natural emotional response.  Often, you will notice ways you’ve been coping that do not work for you and come up with new more effective coping strategies.  CBT can lead to significant changes and progress with mental health concerns in a relatively short amount of time, but does require daily homework practice on your part.

Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma (CPT)

CPT is a well-researched cognitive-behavioral therapy specifically designed to treat PTSD and can be used to address trauma symptoms in those who do not meet the criteria for PTSD but have experienced intense traumas.  CPT is a structured and usually time-limited (between 12 and 20 55-minute sessions) treatment approach with daily homework focused on your recovery from traumatic experiences.  Trauma can change the ways you think about yourself, other people, and the world around you.  CPT works by teaching you new ways to handle these thoughts and their resulting emotions and empowers you to examine the thoughts you experience more critically.  At Vibrant Hues, therapists offer CPT or Prolonged Exposure Therapy for trauma.
